The price of North Slope oil sold on West Coast open markets closed Wednesday at $105.90 a barrel, up $4.68 for the day.

The U.S. natural gas price, at the Lower 48's Henry Hub, was $9.31 per million BTU on Wednesday, up 6 cents from Tuesday's price.

Gold prices closed at $949 per ounce today on the New York Mercantile Exchange, up $14.40 for the day.

Zinc prices closed at $1.0953 per pound today, up 2.58 cents from Tuesday's price.
