Swede industrial supplier acquires Finnish reseller - Industry Supplies
Swedish industrial supplier B&B Tools AB said on Wednesday (2 April) that it has acquired the Finnish industrial reseller PMS Group Oy for an undisclosed sum.
PMS Group, based in Helsinki, supplies work place equipment, tools, personal protection equipment and industrial consumables to the industrial sector in the Helsinki and Salo area. The company has six employees and annual revenue of approximately SEK20m.
The acquisition will especially strengthen B&B Tools' position in the Helsinki area.
"It is a well-established company, with a high level of expertise and excellent opportunities for further development of operations," said Johan Falk, executive vice president of B&B Tools.
B&B Tools, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, provides consumables, components and related services to the industrial and construction sectors in northern Europe. The group has 3,200 employees and annual revenues of over SEK9bn. B&B Tools is listed on the OMX Nordic Exchange in Stockholm.
